Is there a Premiere Pro MCP server?

No. Adobe's AI options for Premiere Pro are the Premiere AI Assistant, a public beta inside the app, and the Adobe for Claude connector, which makes quick cuts and resizes uploaded clips. Adobe does not call the connector MCP or give it a server address [1][3][4]. Premiere MCP servers in our directory come from independent developers, not Adobe.

What Adobe offers instead

Adobe for Claude works on files you attach in the chat [3]. Adobe does not describe it opening or editing a Premiere project.

  • Premiere AI Assistant (public beta): type requests such as 'Organize this footage into bins by scene' or 'Build a stringout from selected clips' [1]. Adobe also lists batch renaming, finding interview questions and assembling a starting edit [2].
  • Adobe for Claude: 50+ tools from Photoshop, Illustrator, Firefly, Express, Premiere, Lightroom, InDesign and Stock [4]. For video, it makes quick cuts of uploaded clips or resizes them for other platforms [3].

How to connect

Adobe for Claude: in Claude, Customize, Plugins, Discover, search Adobe and add the plugin. On its Connectors tab, click Connect next to Adobe, then type /adobe in a new conversation [5].

Premiere AI Assistant: part of the Premiere (beta) app [1].

Plans and access

  • Adobe for Claude is open to guests and to users on free and paid plans [3].
  • No Adobe account is needed to start; signing in unlocks more tools, storage and continuity across sessions [5][4].
  • The AI Assistant has been a public beta since 18 June 2026 [2]. Plan requirements were not checked.

Community Premiere MCP servers

Adobe does not publish or support them. They run on your computer and can change open projects, so read the code and test on a copy of a project.

Undo and approvals

  • Every AI Assistant action goes into Premiere's undo and history stacks [1].
  • Adobe says Adobe for Claude works 'with your input along the way' [4]. Its default approval settings are not stated.
