If you’ve been active on this platform for some time, then you must have asked yourself how to get more views and subscribers on YouTube.
You’ll be happy to know that there are multiple ways to get more views on YouTube AND increase your subscriber count. In this article, we’ve included 69 of our best tips for increasing your subscriber and view count, and the best part is – most of them are completely free and don’t take hours to complete!
We’ll be focusing on optimizing three different areas:
- your channel,
- the videos you make,
- and the way you promote your videos.
All these different tips will not only result in a higher subscriber count and more views, but they can potentially improve the quality of your videos, which is always a plus. If you’ve been focusing on optimizing only one of these areas, then now is your chance to invest in all three of them.
Whether you’re an experienced YouTuber with thousands of subscribers or you are just starting, following our advice will certainly help.
Now, let’s get started with our 69 tips to get more views and subscribers on YouTube.
Channel: How to grow your YouTube channel
The first area we will focus on is growing your YouTube channel.
To grow your YouTube channel, you should first and foremost focus on building a brand. Your brand represents your channel’s style in a logical and consistent fashion, making it easier for viewers to find (and remember) your videos and channel. It’s also what’s going to make you stand out among fellow YouTubers, so if you haven’t decided what kind of brand you want to create, now is the time to do it.
Here are all the ways you can grow and improve your YouTube channel.
1. Complete your profile and make sure all information is filled in.
Probably stating the obvious here, but the very first thing you should do (if you haven’t already) is make sure you have completed your profile.
This means updating any information you have entered or adding new information about yourself.
When you’re done with that, it’s time to move on to linking social media profiles.
2. Add social media profiles.
YouTube allows you to link your social media accounts to your channel which will be displayed at the bottom-right corner of your channel art, above the subscribe button. Make sure you have all your social media accounts linked on your YouTube channel so new subscribers can quickly follow you on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat or similar apps. If you have a website or blog you can also link that here. This will allow you to build a larger audience across multiple platforms, which is always a plus.
3. Fill out your ‘about’ channel description, set your country, and enter a contact email address.
Your channel has an ‘About’ tab where you can tell your viewers something about you, your channel, or your videos (What’s your channel about? How often do you upload new videos?). This lets viewers know who you are and what your channel is about so they can quickly decide if they want to subscribe. Your channel description will be shown when someone hovers over your channel thumbnail in the YouTube comments. We will explain why this is important later in this post.
Start by filling out your description box so that your viewers can get a glimpse of what they can expect from you as a creator. Make sure you keep a friendly tone throughout. You can tell your viewers basic information like your name, your age, and where you come from. Then you can elaborate on the purpose of your channel, your vision, and other interesting and unique qualities that will make you stand out. You can also write your email in case any brands want to collaborate with you.
4. Create a Channel Icon.
Your channel icon visually represents your channel on YouTube, in comments, or if you are a featured channel on someone else’s channel (more on that later). You can use either your business logo or a personal photo as your channel icon, јуст make sure that it’s the right size and fit.
5. Create a Channel Art.
Your channel art is the banner across the top of your channel. This element is a great opportunity to show off your channel’s personality and strengthen your brand, so make sure it represents your brand and what you stand for as a creator. If you want to customize your channel art, you can use platforms like Canva.
Once you have completed the previous steps your hovercard should look similar to this.
6. Add a small watermark.
Another piece of branding you can add to your channel is a small watermark in the corner of your videos. This will help build your brand even further and at the same time prevent your videos from being stolen without getting credit. So next time someone re-uploads your video to YouTube or Facebook, it will only help you get more views. Just make sure not to make the branding watermark distracting.
7. Categorize your videos, make playlists, create good titles.
If you create multiple videos around a few or more topics, it’s a good idea to organize them in different playlists. This makes it easier for viewers to continue watching the videos they like.
Another important thing is to ensure your titles are SEO-optimized so that your videos have the chance to rank high in the search results and be recommended to different audiences. Keep the titles interesting and intriguing, but make sure they’re not misleading given that most viewers don’t appreciate clickbait.
8. Organize your channel content with channel sections.
When a viewer lands on your channel, will they see a well-organized collection of your videos sorted by topics or are they dropped into a mess of all kinds of different videos without any structure?
Organizing and highlighting your best content in different sections will make your viewers more likely to subscribe to your channel, which, in turn, will result in more channel views. You can learn how by following the steps taken here.
9. Create a channel trailer for new viewers.
You can have a video trailer on your YouTube channel for visitors who are not yet subscribed. Your channel trailer’s purpose is to show highlights of what your channel is all about so that viewers want to see more and subscribe to your YouTube channel. To learn how to set up a channel trailer, check out this YouTube help guide.
Here are a few general tips: make sure you keep the trailer short, include interesting and exciting clips, be original, and ensure it’s mobile-friendly.
10. Customize your YouTube channel’s layout.
You can customize the layout of your channel and choose what to show new viewers. It’s best to show your channel trailer, highlight your most popular videos, and show the different playlists. Make sure new viewers see your best content so they are more inclined to subscribe.
If you don’t customize your channel layout, all visitors will see your channel feed. To customize your channel’s layout, read this guide by YouTube.
11. Check if everything is set-up correctly.
Make sure everything is set up correctly and organized as you want it. Go to your channel by clicking the channel icon in the upper-right corner and select ‘Your Channel’ in the sidebar.
By clicking on ‘Customize Channel’, you can preview it as a visitor by clicking “View as a new visitor” at the top of your channel banner.
12. Verify your account by phone.
When you verify your YouTube account by phone you will be able to unlock new features for your channel, like the ability to monetize your videos, upload videos that are longer than the 15-minute limit, and more. To verify your account and unlock more features head to YouTube.com/verify.
13. Get a verification badge if you have more than 100k subscribers.
If you have more than 100.000 subscribers on YouTube, you can also request a verification badge that will appear next to your YouTube’s channel name if it’s linked with a verified Google+ page or profile. The verification badge will not unlock new features for your channel or rank your videos higher, but it will let viewers know that the channel officially belongs to the creator, brand, organization, or business represented by the channel.
Here’s an example of a verification badge next to Casey Neistat’s channel name.
14. Upload consistently.
Your channel will grow much faster if you are consistent with uploading new and fresh content. YouTube promotes content creators who are consistent with their upload schedules, so decide on the days and number of videos you want to upload each week, and do your best to stick to that schedule.
Set a realistic goal you can stick to; your viewers will be disappointed if you don’t stick to your promises, and it’s always nice to know when to expect your next video.
15. Remove old or bad videos.
If you’ve been in the YouTube game for a while, you probably have some older, low-quality videos that make you cringe. There’s no shame in removing videos you’ve outgrown, and it’s also ok if you don’t. If you like looking back at those videos but don’t want anyone else to see them, then you also have the option to make them unlisted so they’re visible only to you and those with access to the video’s link.
16. Replace outdated content.
If you have older content that contains outdated information or if the content is just not high-quality but still gets a good amount of views, you can replace it with a newer and updated version. Unfortunately, YouTube doesn’t allow you to replace your videos without losing the views, comments, and likes, so what to do?
It’s best to insert a link to the new video in the older video to let viewers know there is an updated version available they should view instead. You now also have two videos ranking for the same topic which can only bring you more views and subscribers.
17. Give viewers a reason to subscribe, something to look forward to.
Promise your viewers a special video when you reach a certain subscriber milestone. You can do a challenge, a stunt, a prank, or anything else you can think of. Your viewers will always appreciate it if you give back and show how grateful you are to have them.

18. Stick with it until you have at least 100 subscribers and a decent amount of videos.
If you are really new to YouTube, you might even have less than 100 subscribers and/or only a few videos. Unfortunately, YouTube does not rank these channels and videos very well in its search function. But don’t give up hope yet! If you’re in the YouTube game for the long run, then you need to be patient with yourself and your channel.
Ask friends and family to share your videos and use our other YouTube promotion tips further down this page until your YouTube channel grows a bit more. After that, your videos will do better in search and they might be featured in the ‘Related Videos’ section more often, which means you will organically get more views and new subscribers.
Videos: How to get more views on YouTube
To get more views on YouTube, you need to create high-quality videos that are optimized to rank as best as possible. Here’s how.
19. Create high-quality videos.
Just mentioning the obvious here – always produce high-quality videos. Viewers prefer watching videos in high-quality, especially audio-wise. You can promote your videos or YouTube channel all you want, but if your videos are low-quality, you will never attract more views or subscribers. If you don’t have the right equipment to produce high-quality content, check out some of our buying guides.
We have general YouTube equipment guides for cameras, camcorders, and microphones, but we also have guides for a specific type of YouTube channels. If you are a vlogger, you should check out our guides on vlogging cameras, vlogging microphones, or cameras with flip screens. If you are a gamer or streamer we also have guides on capture cards and gaming/streaming microphones.
20. Stand out from the crowd by being unique.
Nowadays YouTube is very crowded, so you need to stand out from the crowd to get noticed. Think about what can separate you from other channels. Maybe it’s a unique topic, a certain style of video editing, or something else entirely. Always be genuine and let your unique personality shine through in your videos. This will make you more appealing and more trustworthy to your viewers.
21. Keep your video titles short and related to the video.
Another way to get more subscribers on YouTube is to make your video titles short, catchy, and related to the video. Make sure your video titles grab (potential) viewers’ attention by making them curious about what that video is about. Do not, however, mislead viewers or clickbait your titles, as that will only lead to angry comments and dislikes on your videos which is something you don’t want.
Your video title tells the YouTube algorithm what your video is about and ranks it accordingly when users search for those keywords. That being said, don’t stuff your title with keywords and keep the video title under 50 characters, since YouTube cuts off longer titles.
22. If possible, add ‘video’ to your title so it ranks better in Google search.
If you have space left in your video title and it makes sense to add the keyword ‘video’ towards the end, this can also help you rank in Google so you get more views.
23. Make interesting thumbnails that peak viewers’ curiosity.
An example of a custom thumbnail that grabs attention and communicates the topic of the video.
Creating a thumbnail that grabs attention and makes people curious is always a good idea. You can also use Canva for creating a custom thumbnail or any other editing tool that allows you to upload your own images and alter them how you see fit.
Don’t be afraid to add more elements like emojis and text, just don’t overdo it. For instance, you can choose a screenshot from your video, upload it to Canva, and then play around with all the different options. For starters, you can use pre-made templates that are available on the site.
All custom thumbnails must follow YouTube’s Community Guidelines or you risk having your thumbnail privileges permanently revoked.
For more tips and best practices, you can follow the YouTube Creator Academy lesson on creating custom thumbnails.
24. Create a unique intro for your videos.
Creating an intro for your videos is a good way to strengthen your brand and show a few highlights of your most popular videos. This will give new viewers an idea of what your channel is about, even if they never watched your channel trailer.
25. Create a unique outro for your videos.
Ending your videos with an outro is another way to highlight your most popular content and strengthen your channels’ brand on YouTube. The biggest pro of having an outro is that viewers have already watched your entire video and you have the perfect opportunity to remind an interested viewer to subscribe to your channel.
You can also come up with a creative gesture or catchphrase to sign off your videos, which will add an additional personal element. Pewdiepie’s brofist is a good example of this.

26. Make sure your videos have an ideal length.
The length of your videos depends on a few factors like the type of videos you create and the demographic of your viewers. That being said, the recommended length is around 15 minutes. If you already have a slightly bigger channel with a decent amount of views and subscribers, you can look at the current drop off point of your videos in YouTube Analytics. You can find this by going into your account > Creator Studio > Analytics > Audience Retention. Here you can see how long your videos are being watehced.
The report will show you how well your videos retain viewers and how that percentage compares to other YouTube videos, but you can also just ask your audience for feedback.
27. End videos with a call to action (subscribe, like, share).
It may sound obvious, but you should always ask your viewers to subscribe, like, and share your videos. You’d be surprised if you knew how many people forget to click the subscribe button or like a video even if they want to.
The best way to formulate your call to action is:
- Tell your viewers what to do.
- Tell your viewers how to do it.
- Tell your viewers why to do it.
For example: “If you want to stay up to date with my latest videos, make sure to subscribe by clicking the button below this video.”
28. Ask your subscribers to enable notifications.
YouTube now also has a notification functionality you can enable if you want to get notified when a certain channel uploads a new video. This can be enabled by clicking on the bell icon next to the “Subscribe” button. Ask your subscribers to enable the notification bell if they want to be among the first ones to view your new video.
29. If you’re a daily vlogger, don’t forget to create videos that’ll rank and do well long-term.
A lot of YouTubers start by producing videos on a daily basis (which is good!) but a vlog isn’t that relevant anymore if you find it one or two years later. To supplement this, you also need some videos around a topic that will continue to do well for a longer time.
If you’re short on ideas, make sure you check out our 191 YouTube Video Ideas guide.
30. Write detailed descriptions and link to your social media accounts.
To help YouTube understand the content of your video better, besides optimizing your titles you should also add a detailed description to your videos. It should be between 300-500 words and include keywords (but don’t go overboard).
Don’t forget to link your social media accounts in the description as well. This will allow your viewers to connect to you across multiple platforms.
31. Add tags to your videos.
This is an extra way for YouTube to better understand what your video is about, so include tags to every video you upload! These should be important and relevant keywords that aren’t too broad. Even though there is no proof, it is widely believed the first tag carries slightly more weight than the others, so make sure you put the most important tag first just in case.
32. Include behind the scenes or blooper videos.
Including behind the scenes footage or funny bloopers in your videos can only make them more interesting and engaging. Viewers always enjoy watching these.
Alternatively, you can also make a whole video that will consist only of your bloopers. Many YouTubers have done this, especially as a treat to their subscribers when hitting a milestone.

33. Transcribe your videos.
When you upload a new video, YouTube automatically generates subtitles or closed captions if it has a decent audio quality and there aren’t too many people talking at the same time. The speech recognition software YouTube uses isn’t always accurate and doesn’t always transcribe your videos if the voice is not clear enough.
Like we already explained, YouTube has limited ways of knowing what your content is about, so it’s best to help them and manually transcribe your videos if you want them to get a better ranking. To learn how to add subtitles and closed captions, you can check out the YouTube help article.
34. Translate your subtitles.
If you also translate the added subtitles to different languages, the number of potential viewers for your videos gets even larger. Don’t speak other languages? No problem. You can ask your viewers to add subtitles in their own language or order translations directly in your Video Manager.
35. Optimize your video titles, thumbnails, and description of older videos.
The previous tips also apply to all your older videos that do not yet have good video titles, detailed video descriptions with keywords, or custom thumbnails. This might require some time to do, but it will be worth it in the end.
36. Optimize your videos with YouTube analytics.
YouTube keeps track of a lot of different data on your channel and videos and generates three different reports you can take advantage of. The three kinds of reports are:
- Earnings reports which contain estimated earnings and ad performance;
- Watch-time reports which contain watch time, views, traffic sources, and audience retention information;
- Engagement reports which contain subscribers and annotations information.
If you are new to YouTube Analytics and want to know more about the different reports it generates, this video by YouTube Partners may be helpful.
37. Create variations of your most popular videos.
Your most popular videos are your most popular videos for a reason. So why not try to recreate them in a different format?
Go to your channel and see what they are. Ask yourself if you can create more videos around that topic or in that style, or recycle the same ideas but add a twist.

38. Add a download link or give your viewers something of value.
This method is mostly used by bloggers but now many YouTubers use this strategy as well. Give your subscribers something of value like a download for an eBook you made, a link to a hidden extra video, or a giveaway.
For example, if you hit an important milestone, you can do a giveaway with your own merch or products from some of your favourite brands. This is a good way to keep your engagement high, which will help you get more views and subscribers on YouTube.
Promotion: How to promote your YouTube channel
An optimized channel with high-quality videos doesn’t mean you will automatically get a lot of views on YouTube. You still need to promote your channel so people know it exists. Here are some tips on how to grow your YouTube channel.
39. Ask friends and family to subscribe and share your videos.
When you just start out on YouTube and have close to zero videos, subscribers and views this might be your best bet on building initial momentum. Your first 100 subscribers are the hardest to get. This is why your friends and family can help you get started, and once you break the 100 subscriber barrier, your videos will get ranked better on YouTube so you can organically grow your audience further.
40. Share your videos on your social media pages.
Of course, you should also promote your videos on all the social media pages you have, both personal and brand-related. How is anyone going to know you uploaded a new video if you don’t tell them? For an even wider reach, you can also ask your followers to share them with their friends. If you don’t yet have social media pages for your YouTube channel, now is the time to create them.
41. Social bookmarking sites.
There are a lot of social bookmarking websites where you can share your content. Some of the most popular websites are Reddit and Pinterest.
For example: if you have made a video about woodworking and you want to share it on Reddit, then go to Reddit and find the woodworking subreddit, make sure you are allowed to share your video there by checking the subreddit rules in the sidebar, and share it if everything’s looking good. Depending on the size of the subreddit and the amount of votes/comments your video receives, you can get a decent amount of views and subscribers.
42. Collaborate with other YouTubers.
One of the best and most popular ways to get more views and subscribers on YouTube is by collaborating with other YouTubers. You can create one or multiple special videos together and you can both promote each other on your channels.
One of the best examples of YouTube collaborations is Shane Dawson and Jeffree Star’s Conspiracy Collection.

They managed to make so much traffic on Shopify that it caused the website to crash!
43. Featured channels on the channel page.
YouTube allows creators to add a list of ‘featured channels’ on their channel page.
There are two different strategies you can use to grow your YouTube channel with this.
The first may sound counterintuitive but we recommend adding the most authoritative and popular channels in your niche to these featured channels. By doing this, viewers will make a mental association between you and the YouTube giants in your industry, and consider your channel as a part of that community
The second strategy is to find YouTubers in your niche with around the same number of subscribers (give or take) as you. After you have added the channels, send those YouTube creators a message letting them know that you added their channel to your Featured Channels. By doing so, you are giving them extra exposure which they will greatly appreciate. Use this to build a relationship that can lead to more cross-promotion or collaboration videos, and they might even feature your channel in return. Who knows, you might even become Internet friends! The worst that can happen is that they don’t reply, in which case you can always try again with other channels.
44. Do a collaboration series where both channels upload a part of the series.
One of the best ways to get views on YouTube is to create a series in collaboration with other channels. Instead of just doing a single video, you can create a series with multiple videos and release it on both channels. For example, you create a series of 4 videos. You upload video 1 and 3 while the other YouTuber uploads video 2 and 4. This is very effective because you’ll bring each other’s audiences to both channels.
45. Collaborate, Collaborate, Collaborate.
You shouldn’t limit yourself to collaborating only with other YouTubers to promote yourself. There are a lot of different people, businesses, and communities you can collaborate with. Here are a few ideas:
- Local businesses;
- Bigger companies that operate nation or worldwide;
- Bloggers;
- Music creators/Graphic Designers;
- Streamers;
- Schools;
- Communities;
- Sport clubs;
- Events (fundraisers, concerts, conventions).
46. Interact with your audience, ask questions, encourage comments, and heart them.
If you want to grow your YouTube channel, then you need to interact with your audience. You shouldn’t upload a video and walk away. Encourage your viewers to leave a comment with feedback or ask them a question in the video which they can answer in the comments. If they ask you questions, answer them. Doing this shows your viewers you really care about your audience and value their input which never goes unnoticed. Also, the more interactions (likes and comments) you have on your videos, the higher your videos will be ranked on YouTube.
47. Reply to negative comments.
When you’re replying to your videos’ comments, don’t neglect the negative comments. If someone says they don’t like (a part of) your video, ask them why and what they think you should do instead to improve your content.
However, this doesn’t mean that you should reply to every troll on the internet. Comments like ‘You suck!’ or a bunch of swear words without any constructive feedback should be ignored and you can even choose to ban the user from commenting on your videos if they cross the line.
48. Comment on other channels’ recent videos.
Another way you can get more views and subscribers on YouTube is by commenting on recent videos in your niche. Write something relevant, leave a positive comment, or ask an interesting question, but never spam. This is a great way to promote your channel and intrigue people with your comment or channel icon.
To find videos in your niche, search for a relevant keyword and filter the search result so you see today’s posts only.
If you want to find similar YouTube channels but don’t know where to find them, you can also go to your videos and see what channels are shown in ‘Related Videos’, go to your channel and see what channels are shown in ‘Related Channels’, or just ask your subscribers what other YouTube channels they follow.
49. Start a blog and share/embed your videos there.
Just because your main medium is video doesn’t mean you shouldn’t have a website/blog. So if you don’t have one, now is the time to create it!
You can buy a domain and install WordPress or just create an account on Tumblr or another blogging website. When you post a new video, you should share or embed it on your blog and write a short intro about it. Not only will your video rank on YouTube, but your blog has the potential to attract new visitors from Google getting you twice as many views!
50. Use your email list.
If you’ve been blogging for a while and have built an email list of readers who want to receive your newsletter, you can share your new videos this way as well.
51. Do a live stream on YouTube.
Live video/live streaming has become very popular because it’s a great way to get more views and subscribers on YouTube and engage with your existing audience. Live streams create a sense of urgency, which brings more views, and have the added benefit that you can interact with your audience in real-time.
Given that YouTube is heavily promoting this feature, they will also promote your live stream. To help you get started, YouTube has created a Live streaming guide which gives all the information you need to start live streaming.
52. Do a live video on Twitch, Facebook, Periscope, or Meerkat.
Apart from YouTube, there are lots of other social media networks known for streaming and doing live videos. By using these other platforms you are able to reach a new audience who might have never found your videos on YouTube. If you create gaming videos, you can use Twitch.tv to live stream while the other platforms are for more general purposes.
53. Promote your channel, not only your videos.
When you are using our advice for promoting your videos, don’t forget that you should also be promoting your channel.
54. Create a response video to someone else’s video.
Create a video that is a direct response or a reference to another more popular YouTube channel.
An excellent case study for this strategy is the YouTube channel of Sarah Dietschy. She made a video mocking the editing and filming style of the popular YouTuber Casey Neistat. Casey really liked the video and shared it with his 2.2 million subscribers. This helped Sarah’s channel, which had just 3400 subscribers at the time of uploading the video, gain almost 34.000 subscribers in 24 HOURS. Less than a month later she hit 100.000 subscribers.
Notice how it took her 2 YEARS to hit 3400 subscribers but applying this tactic got her over 96.000 subscribers in a MONTH.
55. Create a response video to a current topic.
You can also create a response video to a current topic. If you want to know what topics are currently trending, check out Google Trends which tracks all mentions of a certain topic across news articles or check out the trending topics on Twitter or Facebook. Videos on trending topics always do well on their own, but if you’re lucky your video may be featured in a news article and/or go viral on social media.
56. Create a video for public holidays.
Viewers always have more time on their hands during the holidays, which means they can spend more time watching your videos. Here are some holidays you can create videos for:
- Christmas
- Halloween
- Thanksgiving
- Independence Day
- Easter
- Mother’s/Father’s Day
- Valentine’s Day
- Superbowl Sunday
57. Use cards and end screens.
You can also promote your videos on your own videos! Use YouTube’s cards and end screens to link to your other content at the end of your videos so that viewers spend longer time on your channel.
58. Upload your videos directly to Facebook.
We discussed doing live streams on other platforms earlier, but you can also share your videos on different platforms to reach new audiences who might have never found you on YouTube.
But instead of sharing a YouTube link, we recommend directly uploading the video on Facebook. Direct videos start playing automatically (which grabs extra attention) and typically see much more engagement. You can then include a call to action at the end of your video to send viewers to your YouTube channel.
59. Find relevant Facebook groups to promote your video in.
Facebook groups are centred around a certain niche or topic, so you can easily find your target audience and promote your channel and videos. To find them, just enter your keyword, topic, or niche into Facebook’s search bar and select ‘Groups’.
60. Promote your videos on forums.
Just as you can find your target audience in Facebook Groups, you can also find them in forums around your channel’s main topic. To find forums in your niche, just google [your keyword] + “forum”.
61. Paid ads on Facebook and Instagram.
All tips and tactics shared so far have been completely free ways to promote your YouTube channel. But if you have some budget for marketing and promoting your channel, there are a few more paid options.
Using Facebook and Instagram Ads to promote your videos is an excellent way to raise awareness about your channel and reach a potential audience since there are a lot of targeting options. Simply create a Facebook ad with the objective ‘Get video views’ and Facebook will walk you through the rest of the setup. You can then choose to share it on other platforms such as Instagram. This will cost you from $0.50 and $2.00 per click.
62. Paid ads on Reddit.
Another way to promote your videos is by using ads on Reddit. The subreddit system easily lets you find your target audience and the ads are fairly cheap compared to other options. Only spending $5 or $10 will already get you a lot of views.
63. Link building for your videos to help them rank better.
Building backlinks to your website is a great way to rank it higher in Google, but backlinks to your videos have the same effect as well. We won’t go in-depth into backlink building in this post, but you can find plenty of helpful resources if you research this topic on Google.
64. Create more channels about different topics.
If you create a lot of videos on different topics, it might be best to create multiple channels, one for every topic. This is already done by many YouTubers who create a separate channel for their gaming videos or for their vlogs while keeping their main channel about their main topic. You can link to your other channels in the ‘Featured Channels’ section.
By separating your channels you can create a spider web of channels that branch out in different niches/topics but all lead back to your main channel, increasing the chance of someone finding your content and subscribing to your channels.
