How to Use
Step 1
Pick your sensor
Select the sensor size that matches your camera. This sets the default circle of confusion value used in the calculation.
Step 2
Enter lens settings
Type in your focal length (in mm), aperture (f-number) and the distance to your subject (in metres). Use a preset to start quickly.
Step 3
Read your results
Hit Calculate to see near/far focus distances, total DOF, hyperfocal distance and a visual focus range bar. A guidance note tells you whether the DOF is shallow, medium or deep.
