Card sizes use decimal GB (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes), matching how manufacturers label cards. Actual formatted capacity may be slightly less.

How to Use

Step 1
Pick your card size
Use a preset button or type a custom size. This is the capacity printed on your memory card (SD, microSD, CFexpress, etc.).
Step 2
Set your bitrate
Enter your camera's video bitrate in Mbps, or use a resolution preset. Check your camera's recording menu for the exact number. Audio bitrate defaults to 320 kbps.
Step 3
Review your recording time
Hit Calculate to see how long you can record. The safety reserve sets aside a percentage of the card so you never run out mid-shot.
